Parent Association

The Parent Association is part of the glue that holds the campus community together. Parent members telephone every new family and they also manage the school telephone tree. Their volunteer strength is behind the school coffees and socials, thank-you receptions, student-parent brunches and games, the September family barbecue, and the spectacular Auction and Ball in the spring.
Parents who enjoy participating find all kinds of opportunities from photographing and writing to helping in the library, from arts and crafts group to the sports and arts boosters. They are behind the flowers that greet people in the main hall, the Christmas tree and the Christmas Tea, and they are involved in class activities as well.
The Parent Association president sits on the Board of Trustees and serves on board committees that oversee and establish school policies. Parents are also active on school development committees and the annual fund drive.
Parent Association meetings are part business, part social, and part educational, with speakers from on and off the campus.
Two additional groups initiated and completely managed by parents are available to all. A weekly spirituality group, which includes parents and alumni parents. And the Parent Academic Support Network features both speakers and opportunities for conversation about topics of interest.
